that moment when the music is just so
floating good
that it’s rolling over me like a great big cloud
walking out in a big
giving me goosebumps creeping up all the way from the toes
up the legs until it’s rumbling in my stomach
filling all of my torso stopping only at the brink
of my eyes
about to overflow
I could shake my body like a dog fresh out of water
until the music drops hit the people around me
and they may feel the same joy that I do.
but I won’t do that on a crowded train.
the music is contained within me
everyone else keeps their own inside inside
while mine feels and fills every corner of the universe
to come back still full-souled but empty-handed
that moment is sheer despair
and pure happiness
